TestView 5.0 Enhancements

TestView 5.0 was generally released in August 2006. It includes enhancements for academic plans, reporting and student profile information.

TESTVIEW 5.0 DETAILS

Academic Plans:

  • Support for Spanish academic plans

  • Support for multiple parent letters (defined at the district level)

  • Academic plan workflow management allows district to attach procedures (tasks) to academic plans to be checked off as tasks are completed. District status report tracks progress.

  • Streamlined menu options

  • Improved print preview function

  • ELDA scores (included if applicable)

  • "Superseded by IEP" can now be designated for each subject

  • SUNS number will print on academic plan if available (SC)

  • "Comprehensive Remediation" status option removed per SDE (SC)


Reporting:

  • New Test Scores option on student groups categorizes students by performance levels on selected tests.

  • New reportable fields have been added:

    • Parent/guardian name

    • Street (mailing address)

    • State

    • Full Address (combination of street/city/state/zip in one column)

    • Days Absent

    • Discipline Referrals

  • The AYP report type is renamed to Test Score Distribution Report.

Other Enhancements:

Student Profile now shows additional information if available:

  • Parent/Guardian

  • Discipline Referrals

  • Days Absent

  • Country of Origin

  • Language Spoken in Home

  • US School Entry Date

  • Graduation Date

  • ESOL Exit Date

  • SUNs Number (SC only)


PACT import now includes Report Card Weight for Below Basic 1 and 2 (may require re-import of PACT scores).
